Organise PDF Pages
Drag pages into order, turn them the right way up, and take out the ones you don't need. Nothing is uploaded. The saved PDF counts as one file on your account.
Fix a scan that came out in the wrong order or on its side, or tidy a PDF before you send it, and save the result as a new file.
Nothing is uploaded
Your files open in your browser and everything happens there, on your device. Filebender never receives them: you still need your account, and it counts the PDF you make as one of your files, by its type and size.
See every page
Each page is shown as a picture, so you can check the order, turn pages the right way up and spot the ones to take out before you save.
Nothing recompressed
Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays sharp and searchable and pictures keep their quality. No plan has ads, and nothing is stamped on your pages.
How to organise the pages of a PDF
- Create a free account with Google or your email address, or sign in.
- Choose a PDF, or drop it on the box.
- Drag pages into order, turn the ones that are the wrong way up, and take out the ones you don't need.
- Press “Save PDF” and download the new file. Your original isn't changed.
Moving pages
Drag a page to where it belongs. With a keyboard, move to a page and use its arrow buttons to shift it earlier or later. Each page shows as a small picture, so one that's out of place stands out.
Turning and removing
The turn button turns a page a quarter turn clockwise; press it again to keep turning. The remove button takes a page out. Undo page changes puts everything back the way it is in the file.
Saving
Nothing changes until you press Save PDF, and the original file isn't touched: you get a new PDF to download or share. Turning a page changes only which way up it's shown, so nothing is redrawn and the text stays sharp.
The PDF is opened in your browser and never uploaded. Saving it needs your account, and the saved PDF counts as one file.

Questions
Can I add pages from another PDF?
Not here: organising works on one PDF. Merge PDF joins several and lets you arrange all their pages in the same way.
Why does my PDF open sideways?
The page was scanned or saved on its side. Turn it until it's upright and save, and PDF readers will open it the right way up.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Yes. Scans, exports and forms all work the same way, since pages are moved and turned as they are, without being read or changed.
Can I turn every page at once?
Not here: each page turns on its own with its turn button. Rotate PDF has Turn all clockwise and Turn all anticlockwise, which turn every page in one press, and it can move and remove pages too.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Your PDFs open in your browser and everything happens there, on your device, so they never leave it. You still need your account: Filebender counts the PDF you make as one file, by its type and size, never its name or what's in it. The one exception is a damaged PDF your browser can't open: Filebender can repair it on its servers, but only if you say yes, and it's deleted an hour after it's repaired.
Does it use up my allowance?
Each merge, split or reorganised PDF counts as one file, however many pages or PDFs go into it or come out of it, so a split into ten PDFs is still one file. If something goes wrong and nothing is made, it doesn't count.
Can I use a password-protected PDF?
Not one that needs a password to open: open it with its password in a PDF reader, save a copy without one, and add that copy. A PDF that opens without a password but limits printing or editing works, as long as you're allowed to change it.
Is anything lost?
The pages are copied as they are, so text stays sharp and searchable and pictures keep their quality. Bookmarks aren't carried over, and form fields may stop being fillable.
Why do I need an account?
Every plan needs an account, including the free plan. Your daily allowance and any pass you buy are kept with your account, and accounts keep automated abuse out. Making one costs nothing, with Google or your email address, and you can start converting as soon as it's ready.
